Organization
- Design/Trademark Division includes professionals who have long experience in design and trademark areas, and executes national and foreign design and trademark applications. Also, the members of this division executes consulting or prosecution of prior registration design or trademark search, opposition, appeal, enforcement, right transfer, unfair competition matter, copyright matter, and other law matter.
- Patent Division includes professionals who have long experience in protection for electronic, electric, mechanical, chemical, and other areas inventions, and executes national and foreign patent and utility model applications. Also, the members of this division executes consulting and prosecution of prior technology document search, opposition, appeal, enforcement, right transfer, and other law matter.
- Foreign Application Secretary Division provides clerical supports to the Patent Division for foreign patent and utility model applications, such as correspondences with associated foreign agents. This division includes a First Half Prosecution Stage Group mainly executing operations for initial filing, a Second Half Prosecution Stage Group mainly executing operations for responding to office actions, a Translation Group executing J to E or E to J translations.
- National Application Secretary Division provides clerical supports to the Patent Division for national patent and utility model applications. This division includes a Client Communicative Group executing communication with clients, a Patent Office Communicative Group executing correspondence with the Japanese Patent Office, and a Drawing Preparation Group executing preparation of drawings necessary for patent applications.
- Chinese Application Specialized Division includes Chinese patent attorneys and a Japanese attorney having long experience in Chinese patent matters, and executes filing or examination response of patent and utility model applications in China.
